FST 02 Thermal Shrinkage Tester

Film Thermal Shrinkage Tester (Force Shrinkage Tester) is designed based on the ISO 14616 international standard. It is applicable to the precisely quantitative determination of the shrinking force, contracting force and shrinkage ratio for heatshrinkable plastic films during the thermal shrinkage process.

Principle
Specimens connected to load cells or displacement transducers are rapidly brought up to the shrinkage temperature, then cooled in the open air to a specified temperature. During this process, the system records the real-time temperature,shrinking force, contracting force and shrinkage ratio and conducts analysis for test results.
